At this stage our printing house pays particular attention to interaction with a client, that is why the design-studio is a structural part of the commercial department. Design and prepress preparation stage is the most difficult one for planning due to creative component. The UPRINT's personnel are a team of specialists oriented towards efficient and qualitative satisfaction of client requirements. The design-studio both accepts customer's repros (relatively ready for work or with intermediate degree of readiness) and performs complex designing "from idea to a product".

Our client can develop the desired layout sheet or original design practically for any polygraph work or packing. We will readily process your presented files and prepare them for printing.

The technical requirements to the publications transmitted as files:

  • *.cdr (Corel Draw)
  • *.ai, *.eps, *.pdf (Adobe Illustrator)
  • *.tiff,*.psd (Adobe Photoshop)
  • *.indd, *.qxp (Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress)

Vector graphics:

Adobe Illustrator (till 11 version): .AI, .PDF, .EPS
Corel Draw
(till 11 version): .CDR
All linked raster images have to be in CMYK color model and have 300 dpi. It is necessary to transfer in curves all the fonts. The very important elements of the publication, for example texts, should not settle down closer than 2mm to edge of a sheet. The paper size which set in the menu page setup (or similar), should correspond to a cut format of the edition. (100% scale). Special effects, like transparency, shadow etc. have to be generated to the raster objects.

PDF is the most popular, convenient and safety format for you and for us. It can be generated almost from every design program. For creation PDF-file you can also use Acrobat Distiller. For programs Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign you can use built-in module for PDF-making (but not higher then 1.3-version).

Raster graphics:

Adobe Photoshop: It has to be TIFF Uncompressed, CMYK, 300 dpi. There are havent be any crop marks, registers and folding lines (better use guidelines). PSD-file has to be without layers, paths and additional channels. If you bring us files with other format (JPEG, PNG) and other color models (RGB, Indexed Colors, CIE Lab), you will take all responsibility.

The requirements to the publications:

We recommend you to make the imposition of the multiple-page editions in the applications specially intended for it: Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress. It is possible to make the leaflets, booklets, labels and other sheet production in the set forth above programs, and also in the programs the illustrative diagrams: Macromedia FreeHand, CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator.

For the graphic design Soft Ware it is necessary to transfer in curves all the fonts.

The colour of all elements of the publication should be determined in CMYK (in a case which is not providing a print by Pantone mix-paints). The colours of elements of the publications determined in other colour spaces can by be deformed. You can look, as this or that CMYK-colour looks in the special colour atlas available at us.
If the image to be printed "right through" it is necessary to provide a stock on the cutting not less than 2mm for sheet (for example, size of the leaflet 210x297 mm, the size of the image should be 214x301 mm) and not less than 3mm for the multiple pages editions.

The very important elements of the publication, for example texts, should not settle down closer than 2mm to edge of a sheet, for the multiple pages editions is closer than 3mm.

The paper size which set in the menu page setup (or similar), should correspond to a cut format of the edition.
At imposition of the booklets with subsequent folding it is necessary beforehand to find out and precisely to maintain the sizes of strips (for example, at pamphlet the internal strips should have width of 98,5mm, and obverse - 100mm).

Minimally reproduced thickness of the solid strokes is 0,05mm.

The publications should not contain embedded images. All the images should be linked, i.e. to contain in the separate files.

It is impossible to place the images in the publication through Clipboard - commands Copy-Paste.
The connected links can be only in formats EPS and TIFF (for Adobe InDesign also PSD files can be used as the links).

The EPS-files should not contain fonts, the colours of all elements should be determined in CMYK.

The TIFF-files should be CMYK, Greyscale or Bitmap. For the raster images the effective sanction 300 dpi is recommended, for bit 600-1200 dpi. TIFF-files should not have of layers and additional channels. The total ink should not exceed 320 %.

It is recommended blackest black colour C 50 %, M 50 %, Y 50 %, K 100 %.
